Levels: Events at 4 levels to cater for players of all standards. Because entries are now too high to play the tournament in one night, the Open & B Grade events will be played on 14 March and the A Grade & C Grade events will be played on 21 Marchl.
Open: Top level A Grade: Equiv. to or lower than UTR 7.50 (men) or UTR 6.50 (women) [approx. UQTC Fixtures A2, UQTC Social low Red] B Grade: Equiv. to or lower than UTR 6.50 (men) or UTR 5.50 (women) [approx. UQTC Fixtures B1, UQTC Social Yellow) C Grade: Equiv. to or lower than UTR 4.50 (men) or UTR 3.50 (women) (approx. UQTC Fixtures C1, UQTC Social Green & Blue)
Eligibility: Entry is open to all players but entrants must have a Tennis Australia Competitive Player Profile. A higher entry fee applies for players who are not members of the UQ Tennis Club.
Availability: If play on 14 March is prevented or interrupted because of the weather, the Open & B Grade events will be played or continued on 28 March. If play on 21 March is prevented or interrupted because of the weather, the remaining events will be played or continued on 28 March. Entrants should ensure they are available for both nights if necessary.
Entry Fees: $40 for Ordinary, Associate & Junior Members of the UQ Tennis Club or $50 for non-members.
Grand Prix: This is a Category A event in the Club's 2026 Grand Prix.
Format: Round-Rrobin, which guarantee all entrants get multiple matches.
