Club Christmas Party BBQ

Don’t miss the Club’s Christmas Party Barbecue after Social Tennis on Sunday, 15 December.

There will be loads of free delicious Christmas fare (including desserts).  Drinks will be on sale at The Smash Bar. 

This is a great opportunity for UQ Tennis players (social players, tournament players, practice attendees, program organisers and committee members) to get together to celebrate the end of another great year of Tennis at UQ.

During the afternoon, players will have the opportunity to win some great prizes in the traditional ‘Hit-the-Cone Serving Competition’.

There will also be some presentations during the Christmas Party for the Club Grand Prix, the UQ Student & Staff Championships, the Annual Club Championships and for the Top 5 attendees at Social Tennis during 2024. 

Players to be presented with trophies and prizes for the two Championships and Grand Prix are Emma Armitage-Ho, Billy Bougoure, Mia Christopher, Ben Deverell, Andrew Ferguson, Jake Fortey, Ethan Gunn, Margaret Henderson, Michael Hou, Peter Lawrence, Anakin Lee, Chelsea Mailer, Gregory Richards, Nicolas Soro, Gabrielle Torbey, Jane Van Kester, Grace Vang, Kishan Vyas & Katie Walker.

15 December is the last day of Sunday Afternoon Social Tennis for 2024.  Sunday Afternoon Social Tennis will resume in 2025 on 5 January.
